![]() ![]() ![]() # cp /dev/shm/runcommand.log /home/pi/RetroPie/roms ~ is an alias for the /home/ folder ( /home/pi in our case) which would also work, as does $HOME. Linux is case-sensitive, so make sure to capitalize the R and P in RetroPie. Use the cp (copy) command to copy the log to your roms folder where it can be easily accessed over the network: cp /dev/shm/runcommand.log ~/RetroPie/roms The location of the log file is not one that is accessible over the network share. These will allow you to view the file, but doesn't help you share it. With less you can still page through with Space, but you can also use PgUp/PgDn to go back/forward a page at a time, or line-by-line with the up/down Arrow keys. For more control, you can use less instead of more: less /dev/shm/runcommand.log This allows you to read the whole file, but doesn't allow you to back up. Press Space to advance to next page: more /dev/shm/runcommand.log ![]() It's probably more than one screen long though, so you can use the more command to display it one screen at a time with pauses in between. You can view the log with the cat (catalog) command: cat /dev/shm/runcommand.log But that file is not "executable" (nor should it be, it's not a script or a binary executable program file, it's just a log of events) and hence the permission error (you don't have "permission" to execute this non-executable file as a command.) You just entered the path to the file itself, so the system tried to treat it as a command. Loaded CD Image: /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/psx/Final Fantasy VII (USA) (Disc 1).cue.Said in Psx emulator controls not working:Įntered the command to view the log, /dev/shm/runcommand.log It tells me permission denied when I do that. PsxMap: warning: wanted to map got 0x741fc000 Just which folders do I delete to reset all the $ sudo cat /dev/shm/runcommand.logĮxecuting: SDL_VIDEO_EGL_DRIVER=/opt/vc/lib/libEGL.so SDL_VIDEO_GL_DRIVER=/opt/vc/lib/libGLESv2.so /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch -L /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-pcsx-rearmed/libretro.so -config /opt/retropie/configs/psx/retroarch.cfg "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/psx/Final Fantasy VII (USA) (Disc 1).cue" -appendconfig /dev/shm/retroarch.cfg I don't care if I lose all my controller settings, I'll redo them. I've read online that you can just delete config files and it should all reset, but I'm not sure which folder(s) to delete. ![]() I kind of just want to reset all my control / emulator config settings but I have no idea how to do that without reinstalling retropie onto the SD using win32diskimager. A solution where I don't have to reflash RetroPie to the SD card would be ideal since I don't have an SD Card reader. Not sure if this is it, but I don't even remember where it was. Tried redoing the inputs for my controller on RetroPie.Ĭontrols worked before but I remember having a PCSX-ReArmed file somewhere (might've been somewhere in /opt/retropie/emulators?) and I deleted it as I was having trouble getting the analog stick to work and saw that this was recommended. Set all User # Analog To Digital to Left Analog, didn't work. Quick Menu > Controls: Set all User # Device Type's to RetroPad and RetroPad w/ Analog. Quick Menu > Options: Set all Pad Type's to default, standard, and analog. Controls work on other emulators, just not PSX. ![]()
